Architecture - Longfellow House Washington's Headquarters National Historic Site (U.S. National Park Service)

Longfellow House is a remarkable Georgian house whose occupants shaped our nation. It was a site of colonial enslavement and community activism, George Washington’s first long-term headquarters of the American Revolution, and the place where Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote his canon of 19th-century American literature.

Longfellow House-Washington's Headquarters National Historic Site, at 105 Brattle Street, Cambridge, is operated by the U. S. National Park Service.

During our 1-hour tour, our guide will introduce the major events and lesser known histories associated with the house. To join the tour, send us a brief email. Attendance is limited to 20 participants.
