On October 21st, eleven Ticknorites met online to discuss their collections in our first ever Collectors Happy Hour. Hosted by Ticknor Collecting Prize Coordinator Maida Tilchen, attendees briefly described what they collect and why, followed by an informal conversation in which attendees asked each other questions, offered advice and resources for further research, and encouraged their fellows in their endeavors.
Happy Hours continued in November 2022 and February, March, and May 2023 covering a variety of subjects, from cataloging collections to where one locates books in our modern world.
