Joan Ilacqua, Executive Director of The History Project, took attendees on a virtual tour of The History Project’s collections.
Established in 1980, The History Project is Boston’s LGBTQ+ community archives and holds over 200 collections documenting LGBTQ+ life and experience in the Boston area and regionally in New England. Joan shared the history of the organization, as well as some fun digitized materials from the archives, including buttons, photographs, and other queer ephemera.
