The duties are as follows:
- Coordinate with the President, Vice President, and other board members to add upcoming events to the website.
- Work with the Ticknor Collecting Prize Coordinator to add the winning entry to the Prize's webpage each year after the award winner has been announced (at the Boston International Antiquarian Book Fair, usually in November).
- Upload recordings of Zoom events to YouTube and add to the Videos page of the website.
- Make changes to website text and graphics as directed by the Board.
The website and event management administration are done through Wild Apricot. A knowledge of that platform is helpful but not necessary. A familiarity with YouTube and Google Drive is also useful; YouTube hosts recordings of our Zoom events, and Google Drive is where the files for the Ticknor Prize entries live.
A tutorial on any of the above applications will be provided, with continuing support, as needed.
Duties as outlined above require an hour or less of time a month.
